Today was going to be a day for a 'real' photo shoot of my kids. All showered, hair washed, jeans on (that is a big deal here), in the car...off we go...well the brats annoyed me and wouldn't behave. I think I could have taken a long walk off a short pier. The conditions were perfect..the sky was blue...it wasn't freezing..talk about mad!!!! So I took some photos and we toured around. We went back to Whinnyfold and I asked the lady at this cute house if I could take a photo of her house. Not only did I get to take photos but she invited me in. Her husband offered us a cup of tea. Then she told that she was born in Ellon...at the place where Helping Hands is...I told her that it was a pharmacy...she said yep..her dad was the chemist there. Penny dropped..my friend Annette is married to her nephew!!! We had a lovely time with her and Mark. The beach scene is from Cruden Bay. It was a great day...should have found some stranger's kids to photograph.
I am so loving the photos you are taking..these are my favorites so far...tell your little brats to straighten up...would have loved seeing their little mugs...:) have a great rest of your day..:)
Can't you leave those ruffians at home if they are going to act up? Geesh, I problaby would have busted a gasket too! LOL. Loving your pictures, and the story about the lady and her house is quite funny. What a coincidence!
My gasket busted at Cruden Bay....I was swearing like a sailor...and mumbling as I walked along!!!! When we got to Whinnyfold I walked off to take photos...and then came across Kay and Mark...so we sat in the house and had a cuppa...and the boys walked around the little hamlet...and when they got bored...they sat in the car!!! I calmed down alot by then. xxxRobby
Thanks Nan. I did play with these on photoshop but these ones are straight from the camera. I got Pete to turn back around when I saw the mail boxes. I loved the look of it..and the house in the background. xxxRobby
Darn kids! They can be a pain in the butt somedays but we gotta love them. :) Your pictures are beautiful Robby and you have me wishing I could visit Scotland someday.
Take Care and can't wait for the next batch of photos!
I am a 42 year old stay at home wife and mother. My boys are 13 and 11 and are becoming 'mature'...so my 13 year old says. My life revolves around my family, photography and friends. We are all Australians and this is our second time living in Scotland.
